If you’re in the mood for a good dose of Christmas spirit, and you like marching bands, you’re in luck.  There are several local parades coming up in the Lake Norman area. The first is Mooresville’s 64th annual Christmas parade is Tuesday, Nov. 23 (tomorrow) at 3:45 pm.  That takes me back to my youth when I was a student at Troutman School and later, South Iredell where I played tenor sax in the band and marched in quite a few Mooresville Christmas parades.  There nothing like marching down Main St., playing Christmas music and trying to avoid stepping in horse poop in my fancy white marching shoes!
