Here’s a sunny boost on a rainy day- I rode by the new J. Hoyt Hayes Memorial Troutman Library this week to snap a few updated photos. Wow, it’s looking great! Seems a shame to wait, but the grand opening is now scheduled for mid-April, 2010. I think the county has to get its funding act together to do this, and that’s not easy in these tough economic times. Still, we can celebrate spring with a new Troutman Library!

It’s really looking good, Stan!
Glad troutman has a nice library.I subcontracted through AKC Bulldog Masonery.I have not been paid for job yet .I put my whole saving account in to bricking that building. Was told buy Bulldog he was not going to pay me.
Scott,
Very sorry for your problems with the masonry company. Sounds like you would be able to go after your pay through the courts. The town has been overseeing the work. I’d talk to the town manager to see if they might help you.
