Stan, I am always “brutally honest” when I talk to sellers about price. I make sure they understand that they don’t get do decide what their home will sell for, and neither do I. The market, which can also be brutal at times, will decide the price.

Good article, Stan. My dad spent many years at Spencer Shop. He was the electrical foreman in the round house. When the diesel engines first came out, he would do test runs to Greenville. That was probably sixty-five years ago.

Of course, some locals are unhappy about this given the economic impact to the community. Hopefully, taking the extra time will result in a better overall plan that will work with the community without causing traffic and other problems.
